Free Trash Drop-Off Day 2025

Free Trash Drop-Off Day 2025 will be held Saturday May 10, 2025 at the Brodhead Fairgrounds from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. No tires, brush, lumber, paint or other hazardous materials. All household trash, furniture, bicycles, playsets, exercise equipment, mattresses, TV’s etc… are welcome. For more information you may contact the County Judge at 606-256-2856. Rockcastle residents only. Proof of address required at gate.

On November 13, 2023 Rockcastle County Judge Executive Howell Holbrook met at The Center for Rural Development to discuss expanding broadband to rural areas.

FREE TRASH DROP-OFF DAY 2022

On April 9, 2022 the Rockcastle Fiscal Court sponsored a free trash day for all Rockcastle County residents. We had a great day and unloaded 310 loads of trash.
